Embedding konsole and other fun stories, part 2

To my great dismal, i discovered that it’s next to impossible to do something useful with the embedded konsole. Can’t get the KProcess pointer. Just launch and pray or something along these lines. So i proposed an ExtTerminalInterface on kde-core-devel. As i later figured, most of what i need can be done using a dpkg wrapper, so i changed my mind (originally i wanted to get this into 3.3) and proposed it for 3.4/4.0. Ervin was helping me massively on irc with everything and my trauma. I mean, i always run into some limitation. Repeat after me: Rethink your design. Buaaahaa.

On the libapt-pkg side of embedding madness, i had to copy&paste to get something done. Copy&paste forever!. So i now have rather hooky implementation in libcapture. Seems to work. Didn’t try hard to break it tho ;).

Anyway, lesson for today: OOP sucks. C++ sucks. Everything sucks. Gotta back to work, if i want dpkg run in konsole tonight.
