Adept package manager approaching alpha

So Adept (previously EPT and Kapture before that) is now getting closer to a public alpha release. Things are getting into shape, libapt-front is slowly maturing and Adept is getting nicer every day. It can already do most of the things you would expect a package manager to do. It is not too comfy or feature-packed so far, but then, i am still only preparing for a first alpha release. Anyway, i have made a homepage with a bunch of screenshots of the current status. There is also an artwork request over at the “kollaboration forum”:http://kde-artists.org/main/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,48/expv,0/board,47.0. So i will hope someone steps up and makes a nice icon set for me, because well, i have never made icons and i really don’t see myself being any good at it :-).

Anyway, that should be about it. I will try to fix the remaining issues, polish what can be polished for alpha etc in the following days. And on friday, i should be able to tar up the alpha release for your testing pleasure :). Since the situation in sid (debian unstable) is still somewhat unclear, i am not sure i’ll be able to provide builds for it. This alpha is going to be a bit rough, well, sorry for that… I will try to improve for the beta that is scheduled somewhere around 1.9.
