River
(dedicated to Dada)
I was rambling among the trees,
I felt the mild touch of breeze,
It did my wounded heart heal,
I could not believe it was real,
The rising sun lit the grass,
Its rays were colored like a brass,
They shined thru surface of my soul,
Woke up feelings from its bottom or below,
My sun, You rise from behind the hills,
My hearth in Your warm glow thrills,
Happy i am — but in slight shade of fear,
What if will it pass away what is here?
No i cannot bear such a threat,
I forget about it with every breath,
Rather i sink in Your sight,
It stifles the shadow with ray bright,
It brings the golden light,
Into the darkness of the night,
And in this light i fly,
On wings of my love — so high,
The stars will i touch so soon,
I will turn into silver moon,
And then i will fall down into You,
You will be a sweet river in blue,
And of Your water will i drink,
Below Your surface will i sink,
With You will i slowly flow,
Deep into ocean of love below.
