Teardrop
Why to send,
More suffering on them,
Why again to kill,
More human blood to spill,
Who we are to tell,
Who should die,
And who should live,
Who is wise enough.
To say, who deserves the war,
To kill the child,
Of a loving mum,
To make her mourn,
To make her cry,
If she could, she would die,
To save her childrens life,
But bombs do not ask,
“Who wants to die?”
And do you? Why?!
They are poor,
They are pure,
They suffered long,
They suffered hard,
But that’s not enough!
Make them die!
We are here, far away,
Why to care, for theirs sake?
We survived two world wars,
So why not send them some?
Do you remember?
What it means?
Ever suffered?
Lost your tears?
No? Then why to give,
Such a bitter fate,
To human beings?
Stop and wait!
Think, what would you do,
If you had to die, too,
What would you think,
If your bell would ring?
Shame on you,
If you want a war,
First try to lose,
Your own child,
Then say, “it’s okey,”
And then — what do you tell?
Did you like it? Yes?
Then wage the war!
But not otherwise!
Or live in peace,
Within your sweet dreams,
Let die someone else,
You don’t deserve his fate!
You are the only one,
Who should say:
“He deserves to die!
The world is only mine!”
But remember:
You will pay,
For each drop of rain,
From eye,
Of the innocent.
